Radwin, the global provider of sub-6 GHz broadband wireless solutions, and OnSSI announced a technology partnership that will enhance security and public safety. The technology collaboration between the two companies enables control of live video transmitted from vehicles, vessels and trains on the move by utilizing OnSSI's VMS platform and Radwin's wireless broadband in motion solutions.
Popular applications for wireless connectivity on the move include vehicular perimeter security, critical infrastructure protection of oil and gas facilities and onboard video surveillance transmission from vessels, rail and metro trains.
“Our collaboration with Radwin addresses the growing demand for wireless access to high quality live and recorded video images for professional security and first responder applications,” said Gadi Piran, President and CTO, OnSSI. “The addition of Radwin to our integration portfolio is making it possible for companies to extend mobile video surveillance beyond the standard fixed location scenarios, while managing and automating video through OnSSI's VMS solution.”
“There is a huge surge in demand for surveillance systems that enable video on-the-move,” said Sharon Sher, Radwin's CEO and President. Collaboration with OnSSI shows how two manufacturers can combine their respective strengths to serve the evolving market need, Sher added.
