Homeland Security Corporation (HSCC) announced the company has formed a joint venture with Sense Technologies (ST) for the development, sale and support of additional identification methods, including biometrics and access control solutions to it's existing product line. ST is a custom developer and solution provider of integrated hardware and proprietary software targeting the transportation, pharmaceutical, law enforcement, healthcare, travel and tourism, time and attendance and access control industries.

HSCC and ST have formed an alliance to co-develop multiple security applications using HSCC surveillance and CCTV technologies with biometric and access control solutions to positively identify all users accessing the system. The venture will make sure an authorized individual is the one accessing the system or in some cases a machine depending on the user's level of authorization or license. The ST frontend and backend system can integrate with any biometric (including iris, facial, fingerprint, and voice) depending on the application required.

The company plans to target existing and new clients, and industries with newly developed systems.“This partnership will create a much needed 'revenue stream' and allow the company to enter and expand new markets with complete turnkey solutions," stated David Shade, CEO of HSCC.
