Intersec Dubai 2013, the premier business and networking event for security, safety and fire protection in the Middle East, recently concluded its 15th and largest yet edition. Featuring 990 exhibitors from 54 countries, Intersec 2013 was 7 percent larger than the previous edition and welcomed 21,615 visitors from 118 countries, enjoying a 10-percent increase in trade visitor numbers.
Intersec 2013 was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who was accompanied by senior officials from Dubai Civil Defense, Dubai Police, Dubai Police Academy and Hans-Joachim Otto, the German Parliamentary State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. The top five visiting countries, after the United Arab Emirates, were Saudi Arabia, Iran, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait.
The huge turnout and large number of new business inquiries generated more than justified the strong presence and promotion of a&s on iPad, or a&s international plus, at Intersec 2013.
