The total Southeast Asian and Australia-New Zealand biometrics market revenue was US$295.3 million in 2011. The market is expected to witness a CAGR of 15.2 percent between 2011 and 2016, reaching $597.9 million by the end of the forecast period. Southeast Asian biometrics market is expected to witness a CAGR of 16.7 percent during the forecast period. The market growth is being driven by implementation of large-scale government programs. Australia-New Zealand biometrics market has reached a mature state and is estimated to witness a CAGR of 13.0 percent by 2016.
