Cross Match Technologies announced the retirement of former president and long-time CTO, Jack Carver.
Mr. Carver's retirement marks the end of a brilliant 50-plus year career of innovative technology leadership. For the past 13 years, Mr. Carver has led the development of cutting-edge biometric technology that has propelled Cross Match to the forefront of the industry. His inventions, technology leadership, and mentorship of the Cross Match engineering team have led to some of the most important inventions and patents in the biometrics industry.
Mr. Carver joined Cross Match in 1998 after retiring as president of Jupiter Instrument Company. He had previously held high-level management positions in various divisions of United Technologies and the Milton Roy Company. Mr. Carver will continue to serve Cross Match as a technology consultant.
Long-time Cross Match product development engineering manager, George (Bill) McClurg, has assumed the position of chief technology officer. Mr. McClurg joined Cross Match from Elliott Energy Systems in 1998.
