Wise Media and Mesago Messe Frankfurt to Cooperate on Automatic Identification

Wise Media, an international consulting firm serving public and private organizations and founder of ID WORLD Events, and Mesago Messe Frankfurt, affiliate of world leading event company Messe Frankfurt with a presence in more than 150 countries, announce a partnership to jointly address the growing market of automatic identification.

In recognizing the pivotal role that identification of both people and objects has in addressing modern needs for security, mobility and automation, as well as IT driven innovation in general, the two companies are committed to further expand the reach of an initiative beyond its decade-long investigation and successful track record.

The strategic partnership is announced by Sophie B. de la Giroday, President of Wise Media, Uwe Behm, Member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt and Johann Thoma, President of Mesago Messe Frankfurt on the opening day of the 10th ID WORLD International Congress. The deal entails the acquisition of the ID WORLD Event formats by Mesago Messe Frankfurt, with joint support of both companies for the organization of future ID WORLD Events. Wise Media will focus on the further development of the concept of the congress and Mesago Messe Frankfurt will take on operational organization, sales and project management.

Sophie B. de la Giroday, President of Wise Media and founder of the ID WORLD International Congress, will remain the Host of ID WORLD Events. “The closing of this historic negotiation is the result of a careful quest over the last five years to find the most suitable counterpart that could respond to the growing necessities of an initiative we always knew would have outgrown its initial ambitions. Mesago Messe Frankfurt is the ideal partner with whom I am proud and delighted to join forces with,” she commented.

Uwe Behm, Member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt, likewise addressed the audience of the tenth ID WORLD International Congress in Milan stating that: “We perceive the immense potential and importance of the global market for advanced identification solutions. It is a strategic decision for Messe Frankfurt to invest in this key topic area. We want to develop a broad and open initiative on all aspects of automatic identification and its ramifications.”
