Telos Identity Management Solutions,(Telos ID), of Ashburn, Va., and NETCB Limited of South Africa have created a strategic alliance authorizing NETCB Limited to distribute Telos ID's identity-related event management and personnel deployment solutions in Southern and Eastern Africa.
The Telos ID Mobile Authentication and Authorization Control (MAAC) system coordinates the efforts of multiple organizations and verifies credentials and identities of employees, contractors, suppliers and vendors during any type of event. In an environment where multiple organizations come together to deliver services, MAAC enables coordination and cooperation while monitoring and controlling access to facilities and information.
Based on identity assurance technologies built to meet the rigorous security requirements of the United Stated Department of Defense, MAAC is a versatile system that leverages a broad range of biometric devices and integrates with multiple HR management, scheduling and payroll systems.

MAAC is capable of using simple matching or advanced multi-modal biometrics, and its verification software can operate on mobile devices, such as a handheld verification system.
