Renee Janda, US Regional Sales Manager

Janda was appointed Regional Sales Manager for Basler network cameras. Janda will be based in Katy, Texas and will be responsible for Basler's network camera customers in the Midwest from Texas to Minnesota.

Janda has more than eight years of experience in the security industry and has done an outstanding job in developing territories and growing sales. During her career in the security industry, Janda closed big projects especially in the school and education markets, and she has developed very strong relationships within the security industry.

Honeywell Systems
Franco Heijningen, GM for Vindicator Technologies

Heijningen has joined Honeywell Systems in the role of GM for its Vindicator Technologies business. Heijningen will report to Scott Harkins, President and GM of Honeywell Systems.

Heijningen brings more than 30 years of industry experience to Honeywell. Throughout his career, he has held various roles of increasing responsibility, including senior engineering and project management positions with consulting organizations in Asia and the Netherlands. Most recently, he served as VP of Technology and Personnel Development for Niscayah. Heijningen will be based in Austin, Texas, where Honeywell's Vindicator security systems are manufactured and supported.

Trevor Newton, Western Regional Manager
Steve Kingsbury, Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager
Brad Anderson, National Sales Manager for Channel Partners

OnSSI announced three new positions on the OnSSI sales team. Joining the company are Trevor Newton as Western Regional Manager and Steve Kingsbury as Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager. Brad Anderson, formerly Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager, has been appointed to the new position of National Sales Manager for Channel Partners.

Newton joins OnSSI with a background in system engineering and more than 20 years of experience in the industry with companies such as VideoIQ and Lenel Systems, where he designed and managed sales projects for Fortune 500 clients. Newton is a retired, commissioned officer in the US Air Force Reserves. As Western Regional Manager, Newton will have sales responsibility for the states of Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona.

Kingsbury brings an extensive background in account management of federal, military and public infrastructure markets to his new role as Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager. Prior to joining OnSSI, he was Principal at Perimetric Intelligence and previously held sales and management positions with Optellios, Fiber SenSys, Siemens and Honeywell. Kingsbury is a graduate of Syracuse University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree. The Mid-Atlantic region comprises the states of Michigan, Indiana, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky.

As National Sales Manager for Channel Partners, Anderson will use his industry knowledge and sales skills to help guide OnSSI forward by expanding markets and capitalizing on OnSSI's video management solutions. In 2001, Anderson dove deep into the IP video space with one of the IP-surveillance solution integrators for the public safety market. This experience coupled with four years of regional management for OnSSI will allow Brad to lead the National Sales Channel.

Pivot3
Deborah MacCallum, VP of Engineering

Pivot3 appointed MacCallum as its new VP of Engineering. MacCallum, who reports directly to Pivot3 CEO Bob Fernander, has more than 25 years of experience in IT. As VP of Engineering, she will drive product strategy and development of the Pivot3 suite of storage appliances.

MacCallum most recently served as Senior Director of Software Engineering for EMC, where she was responsible for overseeing strategic product strategies in network server and storage solutions. She also worked alongside product management and executive staff to support the development of cloud-based systems. Prior to EMC, MacCallum was VP of Engineering and Support for Voyence, which was acquired by EMC and also served as VP of Development and cofounder at SilverBack Technologies, which was purchased by Dell.

SightLogix
Guy Walker, Director of Sales for Northeast U.S. and Canada

Walker was appointed as Director of Sales for the Northeastern U.S. and Canada for SightLogix. Walker has extensive experience as a consultative salesperson in the security industry. For the past eight years, he has managed the same territory for several manufacturers, including GE. Most recently, Walker helped customers transition from analog to IP communication technology at Communication Networks.

Texecom
Greg Thornton, Head of Export Sales

Texecom appointed Thornton as new Head of Export Sales. Thornton's new role gives him responsibility for overseeing sales activities in all areas outside of the U.K.
He will be familiar to many of Texecom's customers already, having previously held the position of National Sales Manager for the U.K. and Ireland. With the company's continued rapid growth in the global security market, Thornton's 15 years of experience with Texecom will be vital in assisting and supporting both new and existing customers around the world.
