AS&E Awarded Latin American Vehicle Screening System Contract

American Science and Engineering, a supplier of X-ray detection solutions, has been awarded a multimillion dollar order from a Latin American country for a vehicle screening system. This Latin American country will deploy the system for customs applications to safely and effectively screen cars and trucks for explosive threats, drugs and other contraband.

“This order marks the system sold in Latin America, and the multiview, drive-through system will be an ideal security tool for high-traffic areas,” said Anthony Fabiano, President and CEO, AS&E.
