Romanian Security Services Company Acquired by Securitas

Securitas has acquired the security services company Cobra Security in Romania. Enterprise value is estimated to more than US$4 million.

Cobra Security has annual sales of more than $5 million and 1,000 employees. The company has a balanced and diversified customer portfolio. Cobra Security is focused on guarding and monitoring services and has operations throughout Romania.

With this acquisition, Securitas will strengthen its position in the Romanian security services market.

The acquisition is consolidated in Securitas as of Dec. 2, 2010.
