Securitas Acquires Reliance Security Services in the U.K.

The European Commission has approved Securitas’ acquisition of Reliance Security Services in the U.K.

As disclosed on Sep. 30, 2010, Securitas will acquire Reliance Security Services in the U.K. with annual sales of more than US$310 million. The enterprise value is estimated to be more than $67 million.

The acquisition is consolidated in Securitas as of Nov. 9, 2010.
