Salient Systems VMS Integrates with S2 Security Management System

Salient Systems and S2 Security announced the integration of Salient’s VMS with the S2 IP-based physical security management system. Through the integration of these systems, Salient and S2 streamline video management and create a complete physical security system that includes video surveillance, access control and alarm monitoring.

The integrated system ties Salient’s video surveillance features to the S2 access control and intrusion detection system. Users of the integrated system will have access to live and recorded video as well as PTZ camera control that can be directly managed through the S2 interface. Events and recordings can be linked and then called up via the S2 user interface, making it easy for system users to investigate incidents as needed.
