SightLogix Appoints New Regional Director for EMEA

SightLogix, a supplier of automated outdoor video systems for area and perimeter security, appointed Ivan Arrieta as Regional Director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Arrieta, who brings 25 years of executive management and sales experience throughout the region, will lead the company's continued expansion of SightLogix perimeter intrusion detection systems into the EMEA markets.

His proven record of building and leading world-class sales and support organizations will benefit our customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.”

Arrieta joins SightLogix from Cedar Point Communications where, as VP, EMEA Sales, he established sales teams, support organizations and reseller relationships with major systems integrators. Arrieta has held executive-level sales and operating positions with Avaya, Sonus Networks, Nortel/Bay Networks, ADC Fibermux, and Infotron Systems. Fluent in five languages, Arrieta holds an MBA from Harvard University and a bachelor's of science degree in Mechanical Electrical Engineering from the National Engineering University in Lima, Peru.
