Consilium Automation in Middle East won a US$2.85 million contract for a complete automation system including Electrical system, special equipment and instrumentation for a Lube Oil Blending and Grease Manufacturing plant in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.


The facility is designed for minimum manpower requirements and with fully automated operation and control for storage, blending, product handling, and product transfer through tankers/trucks.


Consilium shall provide the complete automation system, including a PLC based control system, electrical system, special equipment and instrumentation. The system includes motor control stations, transformers, generators, emergency power system, plant lightings, video system for plant surveillance, dadar tank gauging system, fire alarm and all field instruments.


Consilium has earlier successfully executed similar lube oil automation projects for ENOC in the United Arab Emirates and for FUCHS in Jordan.
