AOptix Technologies Appoints New Global Sales VP

AOptix Technologies (AOptix), a developer of iris recognition products and long-distance wireless optical communications solutions, hired Dale Bastian as VP of Biometric Sales. Bastian joins the AOptix Executive team with more than 30 years of technology sales experience.


"Bastian has a terrific reputation for growing dynamic and profitable global sales programs," said Dean Senner, CEO of AOptix. "I'm very pleased to have him lead our biometric sales organization at AOptix."


Bastian's recent roles include EVP of Worldwide Sales at 2Wire, where he grew the company's revenue setting records for profit. At Watchguard Technologies and Polycom he increased International revenue while developing and managing new distribution channels. Polycom grew from US$40 million to $400 million in four years under his leadership. Bastian has won numerous awards for his accomplishments and has run sales organizations around the U.S. and Europe.
