Axis Communications was an official sponsor of the Swedish Pavilion at 2010 Shanghai World Expo. With the "Spirit of Innovation" as a focus, Axis network video products helped contribute to the overall global expo theme of "Better city, Better life." The expo will take place from May 1 to Oct. 31, welcoming 238 participating countries.
Sweden will be located in the Nordic Village. The estimated number of visitors is 70 million, of which 95 percent are expected to be Chinese. Axis will provide the expo with all of the cameras to be used in the Swedish Pavilion.
Axis will be a lifeline to what is happening in and around the Swedish pavilion. It will provide professional network video surveillance of the pavilion while at the same time using the cameras in fun and inventive ways.
