ADI announced Harish Vellat has been promoted as MD of ADI, Asia Pacific effective March 1. He takes over this role from Anant Maheshwari, who is moving to a new role in Honeywell Automation and Control Solutions (ACS). In this role, Vellat will manage ADI's Asia Pacific operations, including driving expansion and growth across the region. In addition, he will continue to manage ADI India until a successor is announced. He will report to Tom Polson, President, ADI Global Distribution.

ADI announced Harish Vellat has been promoted as MD of ADI, Asia Pacific effective March 1. He takes over this role from Anant Maheshwari, who is moving to a new role in Honeywell Automation and Control Solutions (ACS). In this role, Vellat will manage ADI's Asia Pacific operations, including driving expansion and growth across the region. In addition, he will continue to manage ADI India until a successor is announced. He will report to Tom Polson, President, ADI Global Distribution.
"We are excited about the leadership and knowledge Harish will bring to this role," the company said in a prepared statement. Vellat joined ADI in June 2008 as Director, ADI India and brought success to the business.
Prior to joining Honeywell, he was MD for HID India where he was recognized for his strategic contribution to the overall HID business. Vellat brings more than 15 years of experience in technology product and services companies. He set up a successful new business in India for HID Global. Prior to that, he developed and managed a successful franchisee channel in South East Asia for NIIT.
