Primion Forms Alliance with Indian Partner

Primion Technology signed a new partner in the growth market of India, Vijay Security Systems (VSSL). Vijay Security Systems specializes in security, fire prevention and video surveillance systems as well as access control, intrusion detection systems and other security-related solutions.

Telenor/Unitech Wireless project
Primion and Vijay will equip 22 locations for mobile telephony provider Unitech Wireless, installing security technology and access control. The project value for Primion is about US$2.1 million.

Primion was entrusted with the project because of its previous experiences with Telenor for a Serbian installation. Telenor is Unitech Wireless' joint venture partner. The project covers three phases and should be completed by the end of 2010. In total, security systems will be installed for 100 shops, 50 office buildings, 30 switching centers and a command center. The solution will also include a new Security Command Center application, the Primion psm2200. The after sales support offered by Vijay includes reaction times of eight hours and less.
