Pelco Management announced the Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport has chosen Pelco's IP video system. Built to accommodate the growing number of international flights to this booming metropolis, the new airport will serve more than 25 million passengers a year.
The network video system will have more than 1,300 cameras, including 900 megapixel cameras. About 60 NVRs will be used for recording. The company's experience in city surveillance and highway traffic management in Turkey served as important references for Pelco.
Local Pelco dealer Corvus said a working relationship developed between the two companies during the last four years. "Pelco is our partner in CCTV systems," said Atilgan Yilmaz, GM of Corvus. "We have achieved many city surveillance applications in Turkey based on its IP video system. Pelco has been our partner with IP video solutions and technical solutions."
