UAE Ministry of the Interior and Sagem Sécurité Sign Partnership Agreement

Services Privatization Group, a company owned by the Ministry of the Interior of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Sagem Sécurité announced the signature of a strategic partnership agreement in the security market.


Sagem Sécurité and the UAE Ministry of the Interior will jointly develop services concerning road safety, as well as advanced systems for multibiometric identification, registration of citizens, issuance of identity documents and automated border control solutions.


"The Ministry of the Interior, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, is pleased to have signed this milestone agreement with a renowned international group, paving the way for similar Private Public Partnership initiatives in the future,” said Major General Nasser Al Nouaimi, Chairman of Services Privatization Group.
