Bettys & Taylors of Harrogate is an independent family business specializing in fine teas, coffees, handcrafted bread, cakes and chocolates.


The tea and coffee factory and bakery are located in four buildings across a 13 acre site. With approximately 600 employees on site, a Pacom security solution is used to manage more than 70 doors and 400 alarm points.


What makes Pacom a unique security offering to Bettys & Taylors of Harrogate is the GMS Web Client. It enables a variety of tasks to be performed such as the creation of new cardholders, assigning access permissions and generating reports.


All activities are done via a Web browser which means no additional software needs to be installed. This makes it convenient for operators to remotely manage their access control from any location.


Onsite staff use the Pacom Web interface for ease of use when creating and editing cards and also to eliminate training requirements that would be necessary if GMS software was used.
