Day & Zimmermann Acquires South Shore Security Systems

Day & Zimmermann Security Services, a provider of managed security services, announced it has completed the acquisition of South Shore Security Systems, a Massachusetts-based security firm. The acquisition expands Day & Zimmermann Security Services presence in the Boston area and bolsters its portfolio in the commercial real estate industry.

The South Shore Quincy office will merge with Day & Zimmermann existing operations in Cambridge, and will add a Worcester, Mass. branch to Day & Zimmermann roster. South Shore employees and support staff will remain in their current positions, including owner Anthony Froio, who will stay on as a district manager for Day & Zimmermann. Mr. Froio will report to Day & Zimmermann regional vice president, Marc Bognar.


Day & Zimmermann Security Services is a security company in the U.S., and provides managed security services, including armed and unarmed guards and roving patrols, to a diverse customer base of industrial and commercial facilities, utilities and refineries, corporate campuses, high rise office buildings and government agencies among others.
