Genetec to showcase new tools for flexible security modernization at GSX 2026

Genetec, the global leader in enterprise physical security software, will showcase the latest enhancements to its portfolio, designed to help organizations modernize security at their own pace, investigate incidents faster, and simplify day-to-day security operations. Demonstrations will include the recently released Genetec Cloudlink 2210 cloud-managed appliance, visitor management enhancements in Security Center SaaS, and a unified investigation experience for complex, multi-site, and multi-region environments.

Cloudlink 2210: cloud-managed physical security for enterprise-scale deployments

Designed for complex, enterprise-scale deployments, Genetec Cloudlink 2210 addresses practical challenges organizations face when adopting a cloud-managed model at scale, including cloud storage costs, support for existing devices that do not enable direct-to-cloud connectivity, and the need to maintain local operation during connectivity disruptions.

The stackable, 2U rack-mount appliance supports hundreds of connected devices and provides up to 240 TB of local storage per unit. It supports multiple workloads, including video management, access control, and intrusion, in a single appliance. Built on an open architecture, Cloudlink 2210 supports a wide range of third-party cameras, access control systems, and intrusion panels. RAID-protected storage, redundant system components, dual network interfaces, and local operation help organizations maintain data protection, availability, and continuity in mission-critical environments.

ACaaS enhancements to support visitor management

Genetec will also demonstrate visitor management enhancements in Security Center SaaS that simplify day-to-day authorizations. A cloud-based front desk experience, launched earlier this year, brings visitor check-in and access workflows into a single interface, allowing front desk staff to process visits while security teams retain oversight through policy-driven controls.

A connected investigation experience helps teams find evidence faster

The investigation experience in Security Center SaaS enables security teams to work across thousands of cameras, multiple sites, and a variety of device manufacturers without switching systems. Enhanced natural language search powered by AI allows investigators to turn everyday descriptions into actionable searches across video feeds. Investigators can then use tools like timeline preview, people and vehicle trajectories, similarity detection, and entry and exit detection to validate findings and compile evidence faster. Operators also see how the system interpreted their prompt, helping them adjust their search and refine the results.
