Axis Communications announces two dual-sensor, multidirectional cameras designed for excellent wide angle overviews and zoomed-in detailed coverage, around the clock and even in challenging lighting. These compact cameras make it possible to see in two directions simultaneously.
AXIS P4705-PLVE Panoramic Camera and AXIS P4707-PLVE Panoramic Camera offer two 2 MP channels and two 5 MP channels respectively. Featuring Lightfinder and Forensic WDR, they ensure sharp, clear images in challenging or poor light conditions.
Built on ARTPEC-8, these high-performance camera include a deep learning processing unit (DLPU). This enables improved processing and storage capabilities and makes it possible to collect and analyse even more data than before — on the edge. Plus, it delivers valuable metadata facilitating fast, easy, and efficient forensic search capabilities in live or recorded video. Additionally, thanks to AXIS Object Analytics, they can detect and classify humans, and different types of vehicles — all tailored to specific needs.

The cameras will be available through Axis distribution channels in Q4 2022.
