Telehouse America, a global leader for data centers, international internet exchanges, and managed IT services, has deployed the Artificial Intelligence-enabled ground-based radar solution from Magos to provide perimeter security at the New York Teleport data center, one of its flagship facilities in the United States.
Magos’ radar perimeter detection system essentially creates a virtual fence around the Telehouse data center. This broad coverage enables Telehouse to achieve 360-degree site monitoring regardless of environmental or lighting conditions.
Telehouse, a KDDI company, operates more than 45 data centers globally, with three in the United States, one in Los Angeles, and two in New York. The Staten Island Teleport data center handles sensitive data belonging to Telehouse’s impressive list of clients from fast-growing startup firms to multi-national corporations in the finance, cloud, IT, and consumer sectors.

Using Magos’ radar perimeter detection system, only the most relevant perimeter alarm information is sent to security staff and other key stakeholders.
