Concurrently held with Secutech Thailand, Fire & Safety Thailand will return on 28 – 31 October at BITEC, Bangkok. The fair will be exhibiting several companies showcasing the latest fire safety technologies and solutions for disaster management.

Many Southeast Asian countries such as Thailand are in demand for better fire safety and disaster management solutions. Just this past year, several major fire broke out factories and markets which caused major damages including Chatuchak and Songkhla.

Natural disasters are also major concerns for the country as it was hit with major storms such as Tropical storm Podul, which caused flooding from heavy rain. Infrastructures including houses, schools and health facilities were affected by the storm.

Showcasing the importance of fire safety and disaster management

Fire & Safety Thailand will have over 50 fire safety companies from 8 countries as they exhibit the latest developments in safety and disaster preventative products and solutions.

Extreme weather events develop rapidly around the world. The sudden heavy rainfalls and landslide have cause insufficient time to evacuate residents from the areas. The deployment of disaster early-warning system and relief resources at the early stage would be able to reduce deaths and property losses.

National Applied Research Laboratories (NARLabs) from Taiwan is one of the exhibitors to display a number of disaster prevention and management related solutions. The technologies on display consist of 5D smart cities platform, smart flood proofing and hybrid earthquake early warning system. NARLabs Thailand office, launched in Bangkok this September, serves as a platform to link the advanced technology development of Taiwan, Thailand and other neighboring ASEAN countries.

The Taiwan Association of Disaster Prevention Industry (TADPI) will be bringing a number of companies to share solutions for monitoring pollution environments, advance weather forecast, and floor defense to name a few. Brands exhibiting include Dataa, Delta EMI, EnSense, Fenri, Sanlien Technology, WaveGIS, and Weather Risk.

The technologies at the fair will encompass a wide range such as firefighting vehicles, personal protection equipment, fire alarm systems, earthquake detection software and more. Some of the companies include Blue Eagle, E&W, HLC Plastics Industry, Naffco, Safe Fire Protection Equipment, Sffeco Global, and Unionlight.

Korea Fire Institute (KFI) Pavilion will be debuting at Secutech Thailand this year. KFI is known for helping companies to meet fire safety standards and connect domestic companies to overseas markets. The organisation will have 10 South Korea-based fire safety companies exhibiting including Dae Myung, Forttec, Global ENP, Intech, Jinwoosmc, Paratech, Rezontech, Shinjeong Development, Shinwoo Electronics, and Youngjin Flex.

One-stop area for smart city solutions

This year’s Secutech Thailand is part of the Smart City Solutions Week that will be co-locating with Thailand Lighting Fair, Thailand Building Fair, and Digital Thailand Big Bang to create a one-stop solution area for smart city development. Visitors can meet with over 260 exhibiting brands showcasing products and solutions in intelligent security, fire & safety, smart living, smart city solution, and info security with companies including Bristol, Asiatic Fire, ZKTeco, HiPower, Network Optix, IDOptimize, ISS, Simpnic, Naffco, Sffeco Global, and Tashi.

Fringe programmes to maximise attendee experiences

A number of fringe programmes will be onsite during the exhibition. Smart Factory Conference will be inviting speakers to share experiences and solutions for optimising and improving factory settings with automation, smart logistics, and monitoring safety. The conference will also cover the importance of preventing factory accidents from fire and explosions with proper safety management.

Show visitors can also participate in Business Matching Session where guides will be taking them across the fairgrounds to connect with exhibitors based on the visitors business background the technology interests.

Secutech Thailand is organised by Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd and Worldex G.E.C. Ltd. The next edition will take place from 28 – 31 October 2019.
