EgisTec introduces swipe and area fingerprint sensors

Egis Technology Inc. (EgisTec), launches their newest fingerprint touch sensor (ET300) and swipe sensor (ES608).

The ET300 is the ideal choice for usage in mobile consumer electronic devices such as smartphones and tablets. ET300 can scrutinize the fingerprint to authenticate and verify the identity of the user with high degree of confidence. Furthermore, it's able to read various fingerprint conditions such as wet and dry fingerprints. ES608 is a low-cost swipe fingerprint sensor designed for portable devices and PC notebooks. EgisTec's image auto-calibration technology can self-calibrate and optimize each output signal for different skin conditions.
