Fueled by increased security awareness, the alarm and safeguarding businesses in Indonesia have picked up at a fast pace, creating a tougher competition that demands “something different” from the solution providers.
According to Indah Fajarwati, Manager, Sales Department, Secom Indopratama, “Entering the year 2014, Secom must be more aggressive than ever as tight competition arise from local companies or joint venture with foreign companies, who also have much experience for projects and have branded equipment.”
She added that “it is important that customers feel secure and comfortable using our products and services. The assurance of man-guarding should not be replaced by technology alone; rather, technology should supplement man-guarding to allow efficient work.”
“Secom has 24-hr control centers and teams of good engineers that always stand by to respond to customers without delay. Secom has a higher price range than competitors, because we dedicate to provide immediate care and seamless after-sale support services. In addition, we offer mobile surveillance on cell phone, too.”
In such heated competition in Indonesia, having a clear position can really help businesses specialize the solutions they provide. Fajarwati said, “Our target is in properties of enterprise level, covering new building in commercial and factory. Secom has an extensive experience in system integration for security system for prestige buildings in Jakarta and throughout the country.”
