ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions has announced the successful implementation of its Mobile Access solution at the Sheraton Bucharest Hotel, a luxury property located in the heart of Romania's capital. The first Romanian hotel to provide Mobile Access functionality, property leadership has ensured that its guests experience seamless and convenient check-in by integrating the technology into its Marriott Bonvoy App.
Implemented alongside Signature RFID door locks, ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions Mobile Access allows the Sheraton Bucharest to maximize service and convenience for guests before they even set foot on the property. With the ability to check in using the Marriott Bonvoy App before they arrive, guests are notified when their guestroom is ready, with ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions Mobile Access then securely delivering room number details and digital key data to their smart device. This is accomplished by leveraging ASSA ABLOY's secure Seos technology, a solution that works to encrypt sensitive data using the latest industry protocols. Once generated, data is transmitted to a guest's device through a secure communications channel and stored inside a digital vault within the Marriott Bonvoy App. When in proximity to the appropriate door lock reader, a secure communications channel is again used to transmit digital key data to provide authorized and seamless access.
