Olisto, until the start of this year known as Triggi app, today announced a new partnership with the Home Connect program.

Through this new partnership, all smart devices, apps and service already present within the Olisto app will be connected to Home Connect’s connected home appliance portfolio of leading brands from BSH Home Appliances such as Siemens and Bosch. This includes ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators, washing machines, dryers and automatic coffee machines.

Consumers can now save money by starting the washing machine, only when the energy production of their solar panels is high. Or create a safer home, by automatically stopping the oven when the smoke detector signals smoke. Even letting the coffee machine prepare your favorite cup of coffee based on face recognition belongs to the possibilities.

Tom Meijeraan, co-founder of Olisto said, “We are very happy to add Home Connect to our platform of interconnected brands. This means a broad range of home appliances of well-known brands will now be able to interact seamlessly with all the other connected products and services within our platform.”

Luuk Brinkman, Head of Digital Marketing at BSH said, “We welcome Olisto to the dynamically growing ecosystem of Home Connect. We especially like the simplicity of the user interface design, for which Olisto was recently rewarded with the Red Dot Design award. Also, the built-in support of multiple languages is very relevant to us, since Home Connect is available in over 32 countries.”

The Home Connect devices can be used in combination with Olisto as of today. Live demo can be found in Olisto’s CES 2018 booth at Sands, Hall G #51522.

Continuing with the name Olisto, the app is able to make connections between connected products and services through a broad set of triggs, the smart rules in app, creating customized scenarios for every single user.
