ievo integrated with Thinking Software's Rota Horizon software
An integration of cutting edge biometric recognition technology with a dedicated Time & Attendance software package is offering organizations real time information designed to streamline payroll and personnel management.
Thinking Software of Oxford, who provide dedicated Workforce Management and Time & Attendance solutions to a wide range of blue chip clients, have integrated their Rota Horizon software with fingerprint readers from ievo
, the Newcastle-based manufacturer of biometric recognition systems.
The result is a fool proof recognition system unaffected by lost or stolen fobs or swipe cards and one that cannot be deceived by the entry of fraudulent PIN’s into numeric key pads, coupled with a data acquisition system that supplies real time reliable information for payroll, flexi-time, absenteeism control and holiday planning.
David Hambidge, Thinking Software’s Business Development Manager, commented, “The ievo biometric hardware is proven technology which normally provides state-of-the-art access control. Our Rota Horizon software connects directly to the new ievo SQL database for data on readers, employees and their “Fingerprint Recognized” events to generate the required Time & Attendance data. Rota Horizon will read the events from this database irrespective of the type of Hardware being used at the back end, and then the front end provides all the normal, powerful, functionality that Rota Horizon provides.”
Keri Feeney, Central Regional Manager of ievo, added, “The integration provides organizations with a highly cost-effective solution for time and attendance data acquisition for Health & Safety, payroll and other HR purposes. The information starts to flow in as soon as the fingerprint readers are activated and continues to track staff attendance for whatever purpose the organization requires – managing flexi-time schemes, holiday planning, conformance with the European Working Time regulations, production of payroll information and forecasts etc – resulting in reduced costs and increased efficiency.”
