Smart home to grow in Indonesia

The smart home market in Indonesia is expected to see big growth in the coming three years, according to Joni Iswanto, Director of Lintastama Jelajah Informatika, an Indonesia-based systems integrator and distributor.

The need to secure the home and the family from growing crime will drive the smart home in the country. With smart homes being a major subject of focus at this year's secutech, Iswanto is looking to get into the smart home market in preparation for growing demand in Indonesia.

The residential market is one of the major growth markets in Indonesia. Realizing the increased need for security, CCTV in the segment has grown significantly in the last two years, said Iswanto.
