Iveda cloud-video surveillance supplys for Philippine Telecom company

Iveda, provider of cloud video surveillance solutions and Sentir platform,  announced that it has shipped cloud-based plug-and-play IP cameras to the Philippines in collaboration with Filcomserve, Inc. and Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. (PLDT). Through the licensing of Sentir, Iveda's cloud video surveillance platform, PLDT will launch the first-of-its kind cloud video monitoring product and service offering in the Philippines. The new bundled service will target small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs).

The solution comprises of Iveda's wide range of Zee series plug-and-play IP cameras and the Sentir video hosting platform, bundled with PLDT's dedicated data connection and cloud video storage. The offering eliminates on- premise video storage and the cumbersome set-up and maintenance associated with typical closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems. This capability enables real-time viewing, push notifications, alerts and recorded playback.

PLDT is marketing this offering as a solution to help businesses thwart increasing problems of employee theft and pilferage using cloud video monitoring.
