Schneider Electric announced that its Pelco Endura Enterprise 2.0 VMS has been recertified with the Lenel OnGuard access control system 6.5 and 6.6. In addition, new certifications of the Pelco Digital Sentry VMS and the DX4700/4800 HD video recorders are now supported via Lenel's OnGuard access control platform.
The seamless integration of these Pelco IP video solutions and Lenel OnGuard allows mutual customers to proactively control, monitor and respond to potential security threats. Operators can easily view and control all video from the OnGuard user interface, simplifying investigations by associating recorded video with events. For real-time monitoring, an operator is presented with video in response to events that are managed by OnGuard. Single and multi-camera views can be displayed manually or automatically and direct control of a camera's pan, tilt and zoom capabilities allows an operator to closely monitor an incident or to follow a suspect. In addition, pan/tilt control can be automated by using pre-set positions to position cameras in response to an event.
“As an active member of the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program, we are excited to announce the recertification of the Endura VMS to OnGuard, and new certifications for the Digital Sentry and the DX4700/4800 HD solution,” said Jeremy Hoyos, integration business development manager, Schneider Electric. “Both teams worked diligently to meet our customers' needs with this truly exceptional integration of video and access control, delivering an advanced IP VMS option that shows our commitment to openness and interoperability within our product offering.”
“Schneider Electric has completed required factory testing at Lenel to validate the functionality of its interface to OnGuard. We look forward to their continued involvement in the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program,” said Gidon Lissai, director of strategic alliances for Lenel.
