Secutech, one of the largest international security exhibitions for OEMs and solutions developers in Asia, will run from Apr 24 to 26 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center in Taiwan. About 510 exhibitors from 19 countries/territories will be on hand to showcase their latest offerings this year.
The world-renowned trade show is an annual international event organized by Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media for the electronic security, info security and fire and safety industries, and covers everything from components, finished products to integrated solutions and platforms.
"Now in its 16th edition, Secutech has become the region's must-attend industry event, and this year's show is expected to attract more than 26,000 professional visitors from different parts of the world,” said Parson Lee, MD.
Visitors will be able to view the latest technologies from exhibitors that include Bosch (Germany), C-pro (Korea), Dahua (China), Everfocus (Taiwan), Hdpro (Korea), Hikvision (China), Honeywell (US), Mobotix (Germany) and Vivotek (Taiwan).
New to this year's show is the 50-exhibitor pavilion from Shenzhen, a major Chinese manufacturing base for security products. Another highlight is the access control pavilion, one of the biggest pavilions of its kind in Asia. Exhibitors will display solutions such as access control for parking and gates, as well as smart home equipment, at the pavilion. For efficient sourcing, there will be dedicated areas for vehicle security, home security and accessories.
Comprehensive Programs
In addition to providing sourcing opportunities, Secutech offers a series of fringe programs:
- Global Digital Surveillance Forum (GDSF) + Security 50 Annual Gathering
This year's show will combine the GDSF with the Security 50 annual gathering, and many of the speakers will be representatives from the a&s Security 50 ranking, which ranks the industry's top 50 companies by financial performance (annual product sales revenue). Topics include the challenges in video surveillance upgrades and how to consolidate diverse management systems.
- Secutech Excellence Award 2013
The Secutech Award Gallery will display various IP cameras and NVRs and during the first two days of the show, visitors can vote for the best in their mind/eye. Brands on display include Aver (Taiwan), Hunt (Taiwan), Kedacom (China), Qnap (Taiwan) and Shany (Taiwan).
- HD-SDI Demonstration
The performance of more than 20 HD-SDI cameras, DVRs and accessories can be viewed and evaluated during various demonstrations simulating real-life conditions in a financia institution.
- Composec Conference
This conference consists of 13 seminars, covering IP megapixel surveillance, HD surveillance storage, compression and HD video processing, as well as SDI and other options for HD video transmission. Key speakers include representatives from Microsoft (US), Seagate (US), Sony (Japan) and Toshiba (Japan).
