The Palm Beach Gardens Police Foundation announced that they have received a donation of two Mobile RapidID Wireless Fingerprint Identification Systems from Cross Match Technologies Inc.
The compact handheld forensic-quality fingerprint scanners use wireless technology for rapid identity verification in the field and allow police officers to quickly determine subjects' identities. Using Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) certified software; the systems provide rapid access to Federal, State and Local Automated Fingerprint Identification Systems (AFIS).
“We take great pride in giving back to the local community and we are honored to support the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department's crime prevention efforts” David Buckley, President and CEO of Cross Match said in making the presentation. Palm Beach Gardens Police Chief Stephen J. Stepp and Foundation President Thomas F. Murphy accepted the donation.
