OSI Systems, a vertically-integrated provider of specialized electronics and services, announced that its Security division, Rapiscan Systems, was awarded a contract for approximately $5 million from a Middle East customer to supply multiple units of its X-ray based imaging cargo inspection solution. Rapiscan will provide its gantry-based cargo and vehicle inspection system which provides highly-automated scanning of densely packed cargo.
