Smiths Detection Supplies Screening Systems and Explosives Detections to Malaysia Airports

Smiths Detection has won contracts to supply advanced X-ray screening systems and explosives trace detectors to two major airports in Malaysia. Penang International Airport and Kuala Lumpur International Airport Low Cost Carrier Terminal 2 (KLIA2) will be equipped with detectors that can detect explosives automatically and table-top devices that can identify both explosives and narcotics. They will be delivered within the next year.
