Kingdom Security has been selected as an IKEA preferred security supplier throughout the UK.
Following a robust prequalification process, presentation and National Support Centre visit a Kingdom service package to meet the needs of the furniture supplier which included a 10-module training package.
The training package itself includes an NVQ in loss prevention, customer service training, first aid and conflict management.
Each training module relates to IKEA policies and procedures, making the training unique to the brand.
The service provided by Kingdom also includes a uniform to reflect the IKEA work environment and a number of services including communication and technology to support the IKEA management team.
Mark Wallace, Kingdom's Senior Operating Executive for the IKEA account, said: “This is a fantastic win. When tendering for this prestigious retail security contract we found a clear synergy between our commitment to our staff and that of IKEA and then designed many initiatives to support and develop store security teams.
