APX Alarm Opens New Central Monitoring Station for Redundancy Support

APX Alarm Security Solutions, an American residential security alarm companies, opened its second central monitoring station (CMS) out of the company's corporate headquarters in Provo, Utah.

With APX Alarm's rapidly growing customer base, the central monitoring facility will provide first-response support and redundancy capabilities that will not only meet but exceed industry service standards.

“We're excited to not only be monitoring from our new corporate office but to provide redundancy that will help guarantee the safety of our customers,” said Lindsay Grauling, APX Alarm's VP of Operations.

Last year, APX Alarm announced that it had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire operating control of a central monitoring center in St. Paul, Minnesota, from Criticom Monitoring Services. Following the acquisition, it completed the final step in APX Alarm becoming a nationwide, full-service residential company, with national sales, installation, customer service, technical support and monitoring managed within one organization.
