SeeTec Expands Market Penetration with New Branches

SeeTec expanded in 2009. The manufacturer of the most powerful video management software SeeTec 5 defended its second place EMEA position, according to IMS Research for the category "Software-only Vendors of Open Platform Network Video Management Software." The EMEA market share increased by more than 4 percent to 24.3 percent and the gap to the market leader could be further reduced. After the successful entry onto the French and Belgian markets, thanks to the opening of an office in Paris last year, new SeeTec markets in Europe have been added.

As of May 1, Gürkan Esenkova has been handling the Turkish market from Istanbul. Esenkova holds a degree in electronic engineering and has many years of experience in the video sector. Prior to this, he worked for a large Turkish installation contractor as the project leader responsible for IP-based security solutions.

In August, Natalia Hoffmann joined the company, who will be managing the East European markets, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan from her base in Vienna. She has many years of experience in the industry and used to work in the IP video software sector.

As of September, Thomas Fernstr?m will be managing the Scandinavian markets from his base in Stockholm. Fernstr?m, formerly of ADI Global, serves as Sales Manager Scandinavia with responsibility for sales in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. His activities at ADI have mean that he has considerable knowledge and many years experience in the surveillance industry.

Kaj Svenningson, International Sales Director at SeeTec is pleased with the new sites and the qualified additional members of staff. "It is of great importance to us to be in a position to offer our clients qualified consulting services on site," he said. "Moreover, there is considerable potential for growth in Turkey and Russia in particular. In the Scandinavian market, IP video has already achieved a high level of acceptance which brings about interesting projects at a high technical level."
