CNL Appoints U.S.— Based Chairman

CNL named Graham Wallis as American Chairman, effective since August 10.

CNL named Graham Wallis as American Chairman, effective since August 10.

Wallis is an industry player and a member of the security industry for the last 20 years. Graham has been across a broad spectrum of senior management roles in the U.S., notably as President of Dedicated Micros and Javelin Systems, a subsidiary of the Ademco Pittway Corporation, as well as strategic advisor to several company boards.

"I've been involved with CNL for several years now, but recently, having been party to the company's expansion planning, mainly here in the U.S.," Graham said. "The company requires a board of advisors with experience of the US market and rapid growth. We're in the process of creating a dynamic board with my appointment being the first of many."

The company recently entered the North American markets with the appointment of Matt Kushner as President and major expansion through its system integrator channel partners. “The timing of a U.S.-based Chairman is right with many of our large new projects being in the U.S. Graham as Chairman can bring experience and industry contacts to the table, as well as responsible for the high-level activities of the company and interfacing to the financial communities and US investors. This move reinforces the strategic direction of CNL and underscores our commitment to the US market,” said Keith Bloodworth, CEO of CNL.
