Involvement in the EADS DS TWISP Application Developer program provides companies, such as Verint, with access to technical documentation, training and test facilities that enable interoperability with the organization's TETRA (Terrestrial Trunked Radio) infrastructure systems. This translates into greater flexibility for Verint customers, delivering more options for software interoperability in their public safety environments.

The TWISP program benefits customer organizations by collecting the latest information on solutions available worldwide, providing the opportunity to select from a wide range of proven, tested solutions. Verint technology integrates closely with TETRA — a standard that the EADS DS, through its integrated line of business Security & Communication Solutions endorses and sponsors. The TETRA protocol for trunked radio is widely leveraged throughout the world, including Asia Pacific and South America, and is mandated for use in Europe.
