Top technology and channel partners from all over Asia attended to share their expertise and learn about new, innovative solutions. Fourteen companies exhibited in the Technology Showcase, demonstrating integrated solutions for optimizing business and improving safety.
Benjamin Low, Vice President of Sales for the Asia Pacific Region, and Sunny Kong, Director of Sales in Asia, welcomed the partners to the event that took place at Le Méridien Phuket Beach Resort. ‘Winning Together – The Power of Partnership’ was the theme of the event. The topic was addressed by a long list of speakers from top companies in the industry emphasizing how Milestone open platform technology enables constant innovation and endless possibilities.

Milestone Partner awards were announced on the final night to honor the best performance in sales and marketing for the year 2015:
• Best Distributor 2014 Asia: Digitalcom Company Ltd, Thailand
• Best Reseller 2014 Asia: Omecca Inc., South Korea
The president of Omecca, a leading system integrator in South Korea, presented a case study on the Goyang Safe City project they implemented, currently with an advanced Milestone XProtect® VMS solution managing more than 3,000 cameras and plans for expansion to more than 5,000 cameras. This makes it one of the biggest Safe City surveillance systems in South Korea. Omecca designed and installed the solution for the local government as part of a massive initiative by South Korea for implementation of surveillance centers in all major cities across the country by 2017.
