Luminite Electronics are pleased to announce the addition of the new GX30 PIR detector to their GX range.

The new detector has a stylish design with a covert front so an intruder is unaware of the positioning of the internal lens.

The low voltage detector is powered from 12 volts DC and can be used for a variety of purposes from alarm and CCTV motion detection to lighting control.

There are two independent volt free relays; one is dedicated for CCTV and alarm signalling whilst the other can be configured for other purposes that require a longer time such as lighting control.

The detection range is 30m x 70° and the internal optical assembly can be adjusted from side to side as well as down so that the unit does not have to be mounted facing in the direction of the area to be covered.  Additionally, the GX30 can be configured for pet immunity or cutain coverage.

Graham Creek, Managing Director at Luminite commented: "Our current GX250 detectors are amongst our most popular and we have been wanting to add to the range for a while. This pleasing design is perfect for the domestic market and the range of features we have designed will, I’m sure, make this model one of our best sellers."
