The BCC200 model, for example, is ideal for construction sites. It is a high-end construction camera unit with an 80-day battery life, perfect for documenting construction projects, analyzing environment changes, and performing a variety of other long-term outdoor photographic tasks.
“This is especially useful for construction project leaders who can quickly find out whether the construction is on schedule or if there are any idling employees, and take the necessary response accordingly,” said Benson Liu, Overseas Business Manager with Brinno.
According to Liu, time-lapse recording is not a new concept. The company however takes the concept to a new level. “Before, you rely on surveillance cameras and post-production to make time-lapse video. Now we put everything together in a single unit that does the time-lapse video for you,” he said.
Besides time-lapse cameras, Brinno also has a range of front-door security solutions. One of them is specifically for the visually impaired. It is a camera pre-integrated with the peephole on the door. The image of a visitor is then shown on the display on the inside, allowing the user to clearly see who is at the door. Another solution captures and stores the video in the unit. The user can playback the video at a later time to see if there were any abnormal events going on while he was away.
