With an impressive and growing global presence, the airline is adopting an integrated approach to security and safety management across key operational facilities at a central Asia Pacific hub.
Synergy 3 will enable the airline, which flies passengers and freight to over 30 countries, to integrate, monitor and manage data from multiple edge device sub-systems through the open architecture offered by Synergy 3 from a dedicated security center.
The integrated Synectics solution also incorporates Synectics PSN 3 ─ with integral redundancy, auto RAID rebuild and dual hot swap power supplies, and Synectics Web Streamer. The integration of the Web Streamer enables secure, remote access to live or recorded IP video footage on fixed or mobile devices including phones and tablets.

When we work with our customers, it is therefore our responsibility to deliver solutions that we know are capable of meeting and exceeding very exacting requirements. It’s often a matter of international security.
“For this project, there was a distinct checklist of criteria. The airline needed a database agnostic, open platform to facilitate monitoring and management from a single unified operator interface; field-proven resiliency and system protection to ensure no downtime and data security; and finally scalability. They required a system that would accommodate growth in line with anticipated infrastructure expansion.
“We have provided a solution that meets this very demanding brief and will ensure the airline achieves maximum levels of situational awareness across its critical infrastructure.”
The contract will be delivered in phases and will be supported by Synectics’ regional office in Singapore.
