Running from 3 – 5 July 2012, the second edition of Secutech Thailand, the leading trading platform for the security, fire and safety industries, is taking place at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre.
Organized by Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media and International Promotion & Exhibition (IPEX), the show is attracting 120 suppliers from 16 countries and regions to exhibit in 5,240 sqm. They will be showing products and services related to electronic security, fire and safety, homeland security, public safety, occupational and personal safety, nature disasters as well as information technology security.
Among the exhibitors are international brands such as 3M, Axis, Bosch, Dahua, Hikvision, Honeywell, LG, Samsung Techwin, Sony and Vivotek as well as exhibitors from Taiwan and Korean who are forming their own pavilion to showcase their latest technologies.
Commenting on the show Mr. Parson Lee, MDr for Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd said: “Thailand is the largest security market in ASEAN and is worth over USD 300 million. Furthermore, a 30 percent growth in 2012 is expected. As a result, in line with this positive forecast we are expecting more than 5,500 visitors to attend Secutech Thailand.”
Secutech Thailand is supported by several government and industry associations, including the Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB). Mrs Supawan Teerarat, TCEB's Exhibitions Director, is also confident that the show can attract thousands of professional visitors. “Secutech Thailand is a platform where the government, business and the public can learn how new security technologies, and fire and safety equipment can protect their interests,” she said.
Diverse seminar programme offers market updates
Secutech Thailand offers various events to equip visitors with the latest market information. Among the events are the HD IP & SDI Camera Demonstration, Smart City Forum, Global Digital Surveillance Forum (GDSF) Thailand and the Fire & Safety Seminar.
At the HD IP & SDI Camera Demonstration, various cameras will record the same environment at the same time so visitors are able to compare the performance of different brands. Visitors also have the opportunity to vote for the best camera. Participating brands include Bosch, CNB, Dahua, Hikvision, Samsung Techwin, SMC and Vivotek.
During the Smart City Forum, representatives from the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Ministry, Royal Thai Police and other experts will brief the audience about how the “Smart Thailand” project can enhance Thailand's competitiveness in the region. The GDSF Thailand event will feature HD surveillance solutions and the Fire & Safety Seminar will update the visitors with new regulations, standards and technologies.
