Suprema launched D-Station, the world's first multimodal biometric access control terminal with dual fingerprint and face recognition technologies. The D-Station's unique fusion multibiometric technology synthesizes and processes minutiae gathered from multiple biometric sensors, delivering superior results over single-mode biometrics. This breakthrough technology delivers a false error rate of 0.001 percent and fast matching speed.
The D-Station offers an array of high-end features, including a wide 5-inch WVGA LCD touch screen, tri-CPU parallel processing system, megapixel camera, USB/SD memory slots and an accelerometer.
By offering IP connectivity, D-Station ensures users enjoy extra flexibility in designing their security system
while reducing cost for wiring and maintenance. With PoE and Wi-Fi, the D-Station completes true IP access control which brings lower per-door costs with extra stability and scalability.
In addition, it offers comprehensive communication interfaces and relays. It allows flexible system design with TCP/IP, two-channel RS-485, RS-232 and Wiegand communication interfaces. Under the cover, the D-Station features an SD memory card slot, SAM (SIM) module slot, 14443 A/B and Mifare module, USB (device and host) and GPRS/CDMA port. It also has multiple in/out ports. For further expansion, an optional external relay unit is available.
