Dahua lately introduced a series of cost-effective 2MP Network dome cameras, namely, HD-SD6582A-HN and DH-SD6982A-HN. The both models adopt Dahua-brand block cameras to ensure a better visual effect but at a lower cost.
Featuring 1/3” progressive scan Exmor CMOS image sensor and TI DaVinci Series DSP, coupled with 20x optical auto-focus zoom lens, DH-SD6582A-HN/SD6982A-HN present you with superb picture quality. The built-in ICR filter provides automatic day/night switching functionality, adjusting the image from color during the day (and in low-light conditions) to monochrome at night (or in extremely poor lighting conditions) while only requiring a minimum illumination of 0.01LUX. Moreover, the auto iris function helps to get the best picture in outdoor applications where the light varies constantly.
In addition to its high image quality, the wide pan/tilt range (horizontal: 0°~360°; vertical: -2°~90°) delivers broad images of each scene and a complete picture of ongoing events. Moreover, this dome supports 255 presets setup, coupled with PTZ mode (5 pattern, 8 tour and 5 scan) and can go to the preset at the speed of 400°/s horizontally and 180°/s vertically, which reduces the time spent on the movement to the preset to better protect the on-site environment and provide important forensic material. As for the DH-SD6982A-HN (IR dome), it is equipped with OSRAM IR lamps (the IR length is over 100m) and its elaborately designed frontal face removes the effect caused by IR light on the lens. The built-in fan design also improves its ventilation capability.
Last but not the least; an easy installation method is quite important as well. For this series, the domes adopt quick-installation port design, which makes installation and maintenance much easier; meanwhile, it also effectively resolves “line-twisting” problem. In addition, its robust IP67/IP66 housing is also an ideal for outdoor installation.
This series dome cameras support 32G SD card storage and are also subject to Onvif & PSIA, which guarantees promising software interoperability.
